What We Believe
Fundamental Truths, As A Born Again Christian We Must all Believe.
A) The Virgin Birth. Matt. 1:20-25 Isa. 7:14 Prophesied 740-680 B.C.
B) Jesus is God's Son. Jn. 3:16
C) Jesus lived a sinless life. 2 Co. 5:20-21
D) Jesus died on the Cross Jn. 19:16-19
E) Jesus shed His Life's Blood for my sins. Rev. 1:5 Col.14: 13-14
F) Jesus rose from the dead. 1 Co. 15:12-19 Matt. 28:1-7
G) He ascended into heaven and is coming soon. - Jn. 14:3 - Lk. 50:50-53
H) Jesus sent the Holy Spirit and gives Him to every born again believer. John7:37-39 John 16:7
I) You must be born again to go to Heaven. - John 3:3
J) Jesus Loves You! You are so important to God, He sent Heaven's BEST for you! (Jesus) John 3:16
K) We believe that there is a Heaven. John 14:1-4, 6 1. "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
L) We Believe Jesus is coming back soon. This is the catching away or rapture of the Church.
3. and receive you to Myself; that where I am And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, there you may be also. 4. And where I go you know, and the way you know."
Other references 1st Thess. 4:13-18
M) We believe there is only one way to get there JESUS.
6. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Other references - Acts 4:10-12
N) We believe we get to God the Father by accepting the price Jesus paid, for humanity's sins, with His Blood on the Cross of Calvary. (The Only Way) This is called the born again experience which is a must if you want to go to Heaven. John 3:3-4a. 3. Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
R You born again? This doesn't take place because you are a member of a church. This doesn't happen because you are a good person. You can not go to heaven because your Mom, Dad or people in your family are saved. You can't get to heaven by just knowing who JESUS is. (head knowledge) Many people will miss Heaven by eighteen inches, the distance between your head and heart.
Here is what the Bible says about this personal experience.
1. R - Recognize the Penalty of Sin Rom 6:23 23. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - There are only two types of people in God's eyes those receiving their wages because of sin and those receiving the gift of God, eternal life because of Jesus.(The Way)
2. R- Realize who has sinned against God. Rom 3:23-24 23. "for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Every person All have sinned. The good news is God's only son, Jesus, so loved us He came to earth and paid for our sins with His Blood where he died on the cross for everyone who will receive this gift (Jesus)
3. R- Rely on the payment Rom 5:8 8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
He is not waiting for us to become good so He can accept us. He is waiting on us to receive His blood that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. - 1st John 1:7
4. R- Repent & be Pardoned From Sin.
9. "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
This is a matter of the heart not the head. With the heart you believe and once you invite Jesus in He will change your life.
Repenting is a two stage process
1.to be sorry for my sin. 2. to turn away from sin
If you have read this far and you are not born again, you will be feeling Jesus dealing with your heart. I want you to know Jesus did not come to condemn you but that the world through Him (Jesus) might be saved. He loves YOU and He thought YOU are worth dieing for. Jesus wants to save you. He will replace your evil with good, your darkness with light, your anger with peace, sadness with joy, your sin with forgiveness. I know Jesus will do this for you because He does this for ALL sinners who repent. Including me.
If you would like to be a born again Christian please pray this prayer with me, ' Lord Jesus I realize I am a sinner and you are the only Savior. Thank you Jesus for paying the price for my sin with your innocent Blood. Lord Jesus I invite you into my heart to be the King of my life. Jesus please forgive me of my sins and as you have forgiven me, I forgive everyone who has ever done me wrong and abused me. I believe you are the Son of God, I believe You bled and died on a cross for my sins, I believe God raised you from the dead. Jesus I receive by faith your full payment for my pardon. Thank you for making me your son / daughter. I believe I am forgiven, I am saved and I am loved amen.
